Two for the road- Designers and their muses/bff's

Designers change their inspirations for each collection they do each season but when it comes down to who inspires them it's all about the women who not only are their muses but are are their best friends. Like Hepburn was to Givenchy, these women are more than just pretty faces. Here are a few muses/models/bff's who are or were once the main focus of every collection done by these talented designers.
Erin Wasson and Alexander Wang

Nicolas Ghesquière and Charlotte Gainsbourg

Valentine Fillol-Cordier and Charles Anastase

Designers no longer with us but still inspiring us with all their great designs

Audrey Hepburn and Hubert De Givenchy

Yves Saint Laurent and Catherine Deneuve- my all time favorite Fashion duo

Forever Fifi Lapin

The most stylish bunny on the internet is doing a mini collaboration with affordable mall chain store Forever 21. Fifi Lapin has already did a collaboration with LeSportSac and it did very well (you can still find people selling some of the bags on Ebay) so hopefully you can find these shirts just as sweet. The shirts are affordable and adorable at just $18.90, get them before they hop away into another Fashion world.

Inside the designers studio: A conversation between Marc and Anna

A few months ago Marc Jacobs and Anna Sui quizzed each other for Style.com. If you have not seen this yet it is a must. See what happens when Marc and Anna talk about when they first got a CFDA award and what does Anna have in common with Madonna.

NYFW VS. LFW! My fashion week faves from both NYC to the LDN!

From Marc Jacobs to Luella, Spring was in full bloom! Pastels and all things pretty was floating the runways of both New York and London. Than we had designers like Phillip Lim for 3.1 Phillip Lim and Percy and Amy for PPQ who were not about pretty in pastels but still put together collections that were still very Spring but without looking like an Easter basket. With all these great collections and still no sign of Fall in L.A. one can only admire Louise Goldin and Proenza Schouler from a far. Who did it best, NYC or LDN ? Well, they are all winners to me. Until Milan and Paris, it's not over yet! My next post will be all my favorite collections from Milan to Paris. Let the Fashion battles begin!

Louis, Louis Vuitton!

Your typical LV girl is not your average kind of girl. This girl is someone who wants to be the center of attention and the life of the party. With Marc Jacob's Fall collection for LV you too can be the life of the party. Can't afford to pay 2,000 on a pair of lace-up boots ? Here is a more affordable look you can get and still get the boots (well, not the ones Stam was wearing). Another plus, the hair and make-up is so simple that even eyeliner-challenged gals can copy the look! As for the Bunny ears, Halloween is coming so what better way to get in the spooky mood than a pair of Cat ears! Now, you can pretend your walking the streets of Paris and be the life of the party!
